HOUSTON — A Montgomery County woman is suing a Woodlands apartment complex and dog owner, alleging she was attacked by two dogs.

Lorna Block filed a complaint Aug. 15 in Harris County District Court against Millennium Waterway Apartments, Helmsman Management Services LLC, TDC Properties LLC and Anthony Persiano, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 11, when Block was standing with her dog in a hallway of the Millennium Waterway Apartments, they were attacked by Persiano's two unruly and unleashed dogs. Block said she was caused to fall and sustain serious injuries, leading to pain and suffering, mental anguish and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the apartment owners had knowledge that Persiano's dogs were a menace to other tenants.

Block seeks between $200,000 and $1 million, interest, court costs and all other just relief. She is represented by attorney Mark A. Carrigan of Carrigan Law Group P.C. in Houston.
