Robert Salinas Jr. has filed a lawsuit against Nelsy Saray Salas in the District Court of Harris County, Texas. The case, registered under ID 2024-19773 and filed on March 28, 2024, pertains to an alleged traffic incident that resulted in personal injury and property damage.

The plaintiff alleges that on December 1, 2022, while he was driving southbound on Hillcroft St., the defendant failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with his vehicle. The plaintiff's lawyer claims that the responding officer issued a citation to Ms. Salas for failing to yield the right-of-way when leaving a stop sign. As a result of this collision, Mr. Salinas sustained injuries which he attributes directly to Ms. Salas' negligence.

In his petition, Mr. Salinas is seeking monetary relief over $250,000 but not more than $1,000,000 as compensation for damages caused by the accident. He argues that Ms. Salas violated several traffic laws including failing to control speed, maintain clear distance, yield right-of-way among others which constitutes negligence per se.
