Marcos Turcios Mejia sues Berck Interests for negligence and breach of duty

Marcos Turcios Mejia has filed a lawsuit against Berck Interests, LLC, also known as JB Mobile Home Park, and Jerry Berck in the District Court of Harris County, Texas. The court case ID is 2024-21243 and it was filed on April 4, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence and breach of duty on the part of the defendants leading to serious physical injuries and mental trauma.

The incident in question occurred on June 8, 2022, when Mejia was run over by a golf cart owned by Berck Interests and operated by Jerry Berck. As a result of this incident, Mejia sustained serious physical injuries and experienced mental trauma. His legal representation for this case is yet to be specified.

Mejia is seeking monetary relief over $250,000 but not more than $1,000,000 for damages including medical expenses incurred in the past and anticipated future medical expenses.
