In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, Bruno Figueroa has filed a lawsuit against Clearcover Insurance Co. The case, bearing the ID 2024-25391 and filed on April 19, 2024, alleges that the insurance company failed to adequately compensate Figueroa for damages resulting from a car accident.

The plaintiff, Bruno Figueroa, represented by an unnamed attorney, resides in Harris County. On April 25, 2023, he was involved in a collision with Jonathan Anthony Donowa who was cited for failure to control his speed. Figueroa sustained serious injuries from the accident and received $30,000 from Donowa's insurance policy. However, this amount did not cover his past and future pain and suffering, mental anguish, permanent impairment and future medical expenses.

Clearcover Insurance Co., represented by CT Corporation as their registered agent based in Dallas, is accused of refusing to pay out Figueroa's uninsured/underinsured policy limits of $50,000 which he claims would fairly compensate him for his losses. The plaintiff is seeking a declaratory judgment that confirms his rights under the insurance contract and specifies the amount Clearcover is obligated to pay in damages.
