Denise Adams has filed a lawsuit against Randy J. Hargrove in the District Court of Harris County, Texas. The case, identified as 2024-18510, was lodged on March 22, 2024. The dispute involves an alleged unprovoked dog attack which resulted in severe injuries to Adams.

Adams' legal representation is provided by The Bowen Law Firm, with Donal McRoberts leading the team. The incident occurred on January 30, 2024 when Hargrove allegedly lost control of his dog, Nellie. According to the plaintiff, Nellie ran into her home and attacked both her and her own dog.

The damages sought by Adams are within the jurisdictional limits of the court and exceed $1,000,000. She alleges that Hargrove's negligence in handling his dog led to her injuries and accuses him of violating Harris County regulations against dogs roaming at-large without direct physical control from their owners.

In her plea for judgment and damages, Adams seeks compensation for personal injuries, medical charges, physical impairment and disfigurement resulting from the incident. She also requests restitution for loss of enjoyment of life, mental anguish and future suffering likely to result from the incident. Her demands include pre-judgment interest as allowed by law and costs of court.
