A bank is applying for an order to foreclose a Groves home.
First Financial Bank applied for an order for foreclosure Oct. 14 in Jefferson County District Court against Patsy A. Reitz.
According to the complaint, Reitz has defaulted on a home equity loan from the plaintiff, with more than $6,000 required to cure the default. First Financial Bank says seven payments had been missed as of Oct. 3, and the amount to pay off the home equity promissory note is more than $55,000.
The bank seeks an expedited order to proceed with the foreclosure. It is represented by attorney James W. King of Offerman and King in Beaumont.
