Wycoffs foreclosure filed

By David Yates | Apr 10, 2007

The U.S. Bank Association has filed an application for order for foreclosure with the Jefferson County District Court against John and Ellen Wycoff.

The bank's application says the couple has failed to make good on their $60,000 promissory note. The Wycoffs had applied for the loan back in February of 2006 and have failed to make a payment since Aug. 1, 2006.

The application, which was filed on April 5, states the bank is attempting to foreclose on a lot located in the Woodlands, an addition to the city of Beaumont.

The bank has hired the Houston law firm Mann & Stevens to collect the debt through the court.
