Alltec files suit over $100 K unpaid bill

Alltec Lifting Systems has filed suit against Lonestar Rigging seeking to collect $126,891.04 for an unpaid invoice.

The suit was filed with the Jefferson County District Court on Nov. 14. James Plair and RP Consulting are also named plaintiffs. LSR-1 Management, Andrew Wilson and Chris Richardson are additional named defendants.

According to the plaintiffs' original petition, Alltec, Plair and RP Consulting had a contract with the defendants to provide goods and services.

"Plaintiffs duly provided these goods and services to defendants," the suit said. "Defendants failed to pay plaintiffs invoices for goods services in full. There exists a remaining balance for these goods and services of approximately $126,891.04."

The two-count suit charges the defendants with breach of contract and quantum meruit.

The plaintiffs are suing for the unpaid invoices, interest and all court costs.

They are represented by attorney Darren Rice of the Walker, Rice & Wisdom law firm.

Judge Bob Wortham, 58th Judicial District, has been assigned to the case.
