Dragon Products is suing a Texas company for its alleged failure to repay a steel bobtail tank it purchased on an open account.
Dragon Products filed a lawsuit July 27 in Jefferson County District Court against West Texas Pump and Equipment and Daniel Murray.
Dragon Products alleges West Texas Pump and Equipment entered into an agreement with it to purchase one 90 BBL steel bobtail tank from it for $32,055, plus applicable finance charges.
Murray personally guaranteed payment for the tank, according to the complaint.
"The amount due on the account through July 2009 is $33,978.32," the suit states.
In addition to the amount it says is due, Dragon Products is seeking pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and other relief to which it may be entitled.
John Seth Bullard of Orgain, Bell and Tucker in Beaumont will be representing it.
The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
