A man is seeking a judgment for injuries he obtained while working for a railroad.

Frederick Bedford filed a lawsuit Oct. 22 in Jefferson County District Court against BNSF Railway Company formerly known as The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company.

Bedford claims he was performing his job duties as a railroad worker and a BNSF employee when he was injured on Oct. 12.

Although Bedford does not specify how he was injured, he does say he suffered great physical and mental pain, suffering and anguish and lost wages because of the incident. In addition, he incurred medical costs, according to the complaint.

Bedford is seeking an unspecified judgment, plus post-judgment interest, costs and other relief the court deems just.

Phyllis Rogers and Arthur Sadin of Sadin Law Firm in Friendswood will be representing him.

The case has been assigned to Judge Gary Sanderson, 60th District Court.
