Injured worker sues employer

Two years ago, Jody Wayne Gallier was injured while in the course and scope of his employment for PCSN.

He filed suit on May 19 in Orange County District Court.

Gallier claims he was injured on June 1, 2008, because the defendant failed to provide him with a safe workplace.

Other than the date, the suit offers no details on how the alleged head injury occurred.

The suit does, however, list several acts of alleged negligence, including failing to provide proper supervision, assistance and tools.

Gallier is suing for past and future mental anguish, medical expenses and lost wages, plus all court costs.

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Adam Terrell of the Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell law firm.

The case has been assigned to Judge Pat Clark, 128th Judicial District.
