Orange resident Angela Moses is suing Raymont and Jessica Nugent, also Orange residents, claiming the couples' dog bit her minor son.
Moses filed the suit June 21 in Orange County District Court.
According to the suit, her son was bitten on Nov. 7, 2008.
The suit does not state how badly the boy was injured or where the incident occurred.
The suit only alleges the Nugents were negligent.
Moses is suing for her son's medical expenses, mental anguish and disfigurement.
The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
