The Parker Service Co.has filed suit against Optimist Village in hopes of recovering a $7,052 debt.

The suit was filed July 6 in Orange County District Court.

Court papers show that Parker Service is a contractor who furnished labor and materials to improve the property of Optimist Village in Orange.
In its suit, Parker Service alleges Optimist Village owes the company $7,052 in actual damages.

Parker Service has already filed a mechanic's lien against Optimist Village, court papers say.

The company is seeking actual damages, court costs and interest.

Parker Service is represented by Port Arthur attorney Nathan Reynolds.

The case has been assigned to Judge Pat Clark, 128th Judicial District.
