Concrete company sues over unpaid invoice

TNT Ready Mix has filed suit against HHH&T, alleging it failed to pay more than $2,000 for materials supplied by TNT.

In its complaint, TNT Ready Mix alleges it entered into an agreement with HHH&T in which it agreed to supply labor and material for concrete work at property owned by HHH&T at 3324 Nederland Ave. in Nederland.

TNT Ready Mix completed the work in September 2010 and has demanded money for its labor, but has failed to receive any, according to the complaint filed Sept. 29 in Jefferson County District Court.

"The total amount due of $2,533.05 remains due and owing under the above-referenced agreement," the suit states.

In addition to the money it says it is owed, TNT is seeking attorney's fees, post-judgment interest, costs and other relief the court deems just.

Kevin M. Fuller of Henry and Fuller in Beaumont will be representing it.

The case has been assigned to Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court.
