A total of three new lawsuits against insurance companies over hurricane damage claims have been filed in Jefferson County District Court, Dec. 19-24, 2011.
The following complaints have been filed:
Richard Bell of 2915 Willow Place in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied his claim for severe roof and water damages caused to his property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Fay Houston of 4020 Kipling Drive in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied her claim for roof and water damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Sandra Rodriguez of 2915 Graves Ave. in Groves alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied her claim for roof and water damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008.
