Triangle Metals sued for driver's collision

Port Arthur resident Alana Lambert has filed suit against Triangle Metals, alleging one of the company's employee's rear-ended her vehicle last October.

The suit was filed Feb. 16 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 19, 2011, Lambert was driving on West Cardinal drive. As she slowed down for traffic, a Triangle Metals employee rear-ended her while in the course and scope of his employment.

The suit alleges the employee negligently failed to keep a proper lookout and that Triangle Metals was responsible for his actions.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Attorney Brett Thomas of the Beaumont law firm Roebuck, Thomas, Roebuck & Adams represents her.

Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
