A salesperson has sued his employer after learning he was not compensated based on accurate sales reports.

Claiming breach of contract, Raymond P. Bass filed suit against Salco Products Inc. on Feb. 28 in the Eastern District of Texas, Beaumont Division.

Bass has worked for the defendant under an employment agreement, originally dated in 2004 and renewed year to year. He states that almost four years ago, Salco began removing products and services from the list of products and services for which he is to receive commission. According to the lawsuit, in late 2011, Salco began withholding commissions entirely and refused to provide monthly sales reports.

The plaintiff is asking the Court for an award of damages for unpaid commissions, interest and court costs.

Bass is represented by Anthony Malley III of Moore Landrey in Beaumont. A jury trial is requested.

U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone is assigned to the case.
