CACH sues to recover $11K credit debt

CACH LLC has filed suit against Beaumont resident Judy Sparks, claiming the woman has defaulted on her credit account and now owes more than $11,000.

The suit was filed March 13 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the suit, Bank of America advanced dollars to Sparks on a credit card account.

Court records show that Sparks stopped making payments on her account. On Dec. 25 the plaintiff sent a letter demanding payment, but despite the demand no payment has been made.

"As of Feb. 3, 2012, there continues to be owed by defendant to the plaintiff an unpaid balance of $11,389.48," the suit states. "Interest continues to accrue to the account."

The plaintiff seeks to recover the balance of the account, interest and court costs.

Carrollton attorney Michael Scott represents it.

Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, is assigned to the case.
