Consulting company sues Renaissance for $133K

Ren Management Consulting is suing Renaissance Hospital Groves for more than $133,000, alleging the medical provider refuses to pay for services rendered.

The suit was filed April 23 in Jefferson County District Court and also names Kiglapait Hospital, Foundations Management Affiliated, Bradley Cardenas, Travis Owens, Woody Moore, Duanne Rossman and Rich Wursche as defendants.

According to the lawsuit, Renaissance and RMC entered into a management contract. Renaissance has paid for services from RMC in the past but now for "no apparent reason" is refusing to pay the amount owed.

To date, RMC alleges it is owed $133,333.33 for services rendered.

In its suit, RMC alleges the defendants breached the contract and is suing for actual and consequential damages, plus attorney's fees and court costs.

Gordon D. Friesz of McPherson, Hughes, Bradley, Wimberley, Steele and Chatelain in Port Arthur represents it.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
