Discover Bank has filed suit against Port Neches local Susan Walsh, alleging the woman refuses to pay her credit card bill.
The suit was filed Oct. 23 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, the parties entered into a card member agreement, wherein Discover made cash advances to Walsh, who then became bound to pay the amounts of such advances.
“Defendant has failed to prey all of the advances made under the agreement,” the suit sates. “The current balance due … is $3,725.16.”
Discover is suing for actual damages, interest and court costs.

Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
