Alleging it was not paid for serviced rendered, Kilgore Construction has filed suit against George Hayden and his company, Electrical Communications.
The suit was filed May 7 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on April 12, 2012, the parties entered into a written contract, wherein Kilgore provided services and labor.
“Although plaintiff has provided defendant with said professional services and labor, defendant has failed to pay plaintiff,” the suit states. “Plaintiff has demanded payment, but defendant has not paid.”
The balance due is $56,059.
Beaumont attorney Chris Portner of Portner Bond represents the plaintiff.
Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, is assigned to the case.
