Brian Andres has filed suit against Wyatt Field Service Co., alleging a company employee struck him with a crane.
The suit was filed June 5 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on March 11 Andres, a GP Industrial employee, was working at Motiva’s Port Arthur facility as a fire watch when he was struck by a crane operated by Wyatt Field Service Co.
“As a result of defendant’s employee’s inattentiveness and negligence, plaintiff suffered severe and debilitating injuries to his neck, shoulder, arm, and other parts of his body, for which he now brings this action,” the suit states.
The suit accuses Wyatt Field Service Co. of negligently failing to train and supervise its employees and provide a safe workplace.
The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment and lost wages.
Houston attorney Michael Tilton of Tilton & Tilton represents him.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, is assigned to the case.
