Area resident Jason Whitney has filed a breach of contract suit against Alvin resident Robert Rivera.
The suit was filed June 28 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, the parties entered into an agreement, where in the defendant agreed to perform certain services.
The suit does not state when the parties entered into the agreement or what services were to be performed by the defendant.
The suit only accuses the defendant of breaching his contract.
The plaintiff is seeking damages in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.
Beaumont attorney Chris Portner of Portner Bond represents him.
Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, is assigned to the case.
