Sanitary Supply sues former employee

Sanitary Supply Co. is suing over claims the defendant breached the terms of his nondisclosure and noncompete covenants.

Sanitary Supply Co. Inc. filed a lawsuit Oct. 31 in the District Court of Jefferson County 58th Judicial District against Lindy L. Hebert, citing breach of contract.

Sanitary Supply says Hebert was an employee since June 28, 1993. The plaintiff states the employment agreement entered into by Hebert contained covenants against disclosure of confidential materials and competition restrictions.

On Dec. 28, 2012, Hebert left Sanitary Supply and went to work for a competitor, according to the complaint. Sanitary Supply contends the defendant has been soliciting business in direct competition with them, which is a breach of the employment agreement.

The plaintiff is seeking an undetermined amount of damages, including an injunction and temporary restraining order.

Sanitary Supply is being represented by Wyatt D. Snider of Snider Law Firm PLLC.
