Beaumont woman sues for crash injuries

A Beaumont woman is suing another driver after sustaining injuries in a vehicle crash.


Carolyn Richard filed a lawsuit Jan. 13 in the Jefferson County District Court against Cynthia Wolfe, of Lumberton, citing negligence.

The suit states Richard was driving March 25, on U.S. Route 69 service road and turning right onto Lucas Drive when she was allegedly struck by a vehicle being driven by Wolfe.

Richard claims she sustained serious and permanent injuries as a result of the accident, according to the complaint.

Richard is seeking damages between $100,000 and $200,000.

She is being represented by Beaumont attorney Ryan Scott.
