A Jefferson County couple is suing over claims they sustained injuries after an automobile accident.
Heliodoro Silva and Antonia Silva filed a lawsuit Jan. 31 in the Jefferson County District Court against Barney Beasley and Nance International Inc., citing negligence.
The plaintiff claims on March 3, 2012, they suffered injuries when their car was struck at the intersection of W. Foster Avenue and S. Cuyler Street in Pampa.
According to the complaint, the defendant disregarded the stop light, causing the collision with the plaintiff.
The plaintiffs claim they suffered serious injuries to their necks, mid and lower backs as a result of the accident.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages in excess of $200,000, interest and court costs.
They are being represented in the case by Texas attorney J.E. Sauseda of Hoffman, Sheffield, Sauseda & Hoffman PLLC in Amarillo.
The case has been assigned to Judge Gary Sanderson, 60th District Court.
