Cynthia Hinds filed a lawsuit Feb. 27 in the Jefferson County District Court against Walter J. Crook Jr., Michael S. Pitre and Marian R. Prince, citing negligence and negligent entrustment.
According to the complaint, on June 29, 2012, Hinds was stopped in her vehicle waiting to turn at the intersection of Highway 347 and Saba Lane when a vehicle driven by Crook or Pitre rear-ended Hinds' car, causing injury to the plaintiff and causing her car to strike the vehicle in front of her.
