Jefferson County man sues former employee claiming breach of contract

A Jefferson County man is suing a former employee for allegedly stealing customers from his business.

Mark Reddoch filed a lawsuit Feb. 24 in the Jefferson County District Court against Robert Perricone, citing breach of contract and fraud.

Reddoch claims defendant Perricone was one of his employees on Feb. 15, at his business, Ideal Transmissons, in Beaumont. The suit alleges Perricone diverted the phone calls of Reddoch's prospective customers for auto repair, sending them to another auto repair company.

According to the suit, Perricone breached the employee contract and caused Reddoch to lose potential income.

Reddoch is seeking damages in excess of $70,000, interest, attorney's fees, court costs, and the stolen customers be made aware of the situation.

He is being represented in the case by Beaumont attorneys Theodore R. Johns Jr.
