Victim in reckless driving collision files lawsuit

A reckless driver faces a lawsuit which has been filed by one of the drivers he allegedly collided with.

Katrina Robertson filed suit in the Galveston County Court at Law No. 1 on March 13 against Troy Albert Pierce.

According to Robertson, she was injured in a car accident which was Pierce's fault. The accident allegedly occurred in January in the 2300 block of Highway 146 in Kemah. Robertson says Pierce crossed over the median into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision.

Robertson claims Pierce was driving recklessly, lost control of his car and caused the accident. She says she was injured in the collision and is seeking monetary damages against Pierce.

Robertson is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.

She is being represented by attorney Kelly Forester of Mathews & Forester in League City.
