Biker sues driver after collision leaves injuries

A motorcyclist is suing a driver after he collided with the car.


James Gray filed a lawsuit March 24 in the Galveston County Civil Court against Adad Galvan, citing negligence. 

The lawsuit states Gray was traveling south at the 4400 block of Highway 3 in Dickinson on Aug. 20, when Galvan failed to yield the right of way and struck Gray’s motorcycle, throwing him to the pavement. Gray sustained injuries, according to the complaint.

Gray is seeking damages with a maximum of $100,000, including damages, penalties, costs, expenses, pre-judgment interests and court costs.

He is being represented by Joseph D. Terry of Terry & Thweatt PC.
