Tyler County resident sues after sustaining work injury in grain elevator

An employer is facing suit after an employee was injured during the course of his work.


Antonio Diaz Aguilera filed a lawsuit April 11 in the Jefferson County Court against Leon P. Langley, individually and doing business as Langley Farms, and doing business as Langley Family Farms, Marsha Langley, individually and doing business as Langley Farms, and doing business as Langley Family Farms, and Grain Growers Inc., citing negligence. 

The complaint states Aguilera was employed by the defendants and sustained a serious injury from the auger at the bottom of the grain elevator while working Jan. 14. The plaintiff alleges the defendants were negligent.

Aguilera is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum.

The plaintiff is being represented in the case by B. Adam Terrell of Weller Green Toups & Terrell LLP in Beaumont.
