The parents of a girl injured in a traffic accident are suing the couple driving the other car.
Christopher and Heather Floyd, as next friend of minor Alexis Floyd, filed a lawsuit April 14 in the Galveston County District Court against Dale and Lori Varner, citing negligence.
The lawsuit states the Varners collided with a vehicle driven by Jeannette Oyervides on May 29, 2012, in the 9800 block of West Military Drive and the 1800 block of Polly Court, San Antonio.
According to the suit, Alexis Floyd was in Oyervides's car, sustained injuries and has permanent bodily impairment.
The Floyds are seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
They are representing themselves.
