Weeks Service Co. sued after employee involved in vehicle collision

A Galveston County man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision in League City.

George Kovacevich filed a lawsuit May 8 in the Galveston County Court against Harry Klein Evelt III and Weeks Service Co., citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, Kovacevich was driving east on West Main Street in League City on May 11, 2012, when Evelt, driving in the scope of his employment with Weeks Service Co., an air conditioning and heating service company, failed to yield the right of way and struck Kovacevich's vehicle, causing injury to the plaintiff.

The defendants are accused of negligence.

Kovacevich is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.

He is being represented in the case by attorney Ramzey Zein-Eldin of Galveston.
