Kelley Emergency Alert Systems sues to regain possession of company truck

A company is suing its former director over possession of a company vehicle.

Kelley Emergency Alert Systems Inc. filed suit May 27 in the Jefferson County District Court against Bo Kelley. 

According to the complaint, the defendant was a shareholder in the plaintiff company and on April 17, 2012, Bo Kelley purchased a truck for the company in the amount of $18,800, using company funds.

The suit states after the defendant was removed as director of the plaintiff company, Bo Kelley took possession of the company truck for personal use.

The defendant is accused of committing conversion and fraud.

The plaintiff is seeking a temporary restraining order, the return of the truck purchased by the defendant and damages.

It is being represented in the case by attorney Wyatt D. Snider of Snider Law Firm PLLC in Beaumont.
