A Deer Park woman is suing over claims she was injured in a three-car collision on State Highway 146.
Meagan Cummings filed a lawsuit July 16 in the Galveston County District Court against Bailey Colbert, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Cummings was driving on State Highway 146 on June 8, 2013, when the defendant failed to control her vehicle while adjusting her radio and struck another car, which then struck Cummings.
Cummings is seeking more than $1 million in damages.
She is being represented in the case by attorneys David W. Bergquist and Ryan M. Snider in Houston.
