A Port Arthur woman is accused of breach of contract for allegedly failing to repay a credit card account.
LVNV Funding filed a lawsuit against Rhonda Howard on Aug. 21 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the petition, Howard opened a credit card account but failed to make payments as agreed, creating a default. LVNV Funding says it bought the account and is owed the remaining balance which was $9,752 as of April 27.
LVNV Funding accuses Howard of breach of contract for allegedly failing to repay the debt as agreed. The company seeks damages in the amount of $9,752 plus interest, attorney fees and court costs.
