A security company alleges the owners of an apartment complex owe it nearly $70,000 after it provided services for more than six months.
Unlimited Security filed a lawsuit Sept. 8 in Galveston County District Court against 519 Apartments.
In its complaint, Unlimited alleges 519 hired it to provide a 24-hour, seven days per week unarmed security detail at the Gulf Breeze Apartment Complex from Sept. 4, 2013, through March 29, 2014.
"Said invoices for the entire period of time totaled $95,426.30, of which defendant made random and infrequent payments totaling $27,404.30, leaving a balance due of $68,022 as of April 6, 2014," the suit states.
Unlimited Security alleges 519 breached its contract.
In addition to the money it claims it is owed, Unlimited Security seeks post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.
Attorney Clement Aldridge Jr., of Houston, will represent Unlimited Security.
