Argo Tea sued for alleged outstanding payments

Transplace Texas LP is suing Argo Tea Inc., alleging breach of contract for outstanding payments.

Transplace provided transportation brokerage services for Argo arranging for freight transportation, according to the complaint filed Aug. 10 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas.

The complaint alleges that Transplace accomplished its transportation services according to its agreement with Argo and prepared invoices for its services.

As of Aug. 6, Argo owes Transplace more than $200,000 across more than 300 separate invoices for services Transplace provided.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages in the amount due plus interest, as well as attorney fees and court costs.

The plaintiff is represented by Katherine T. Garber of Strasburger & Price LLP in Houston.
