An international energy company with an office in Sugar Land, is suing a former employee for declaratory relief in his ongoing medical case.

Noble Services International Ltd. filed a lawsuit Sept. 8 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Charles Miller, who was injured Oct. 10, 2014, when he fell off a ladder while on the job in Brazil.

According to the complaint, Noble is attempting to pay the defendant's medical expenses in a timely manner, but it is being hampered by duplicate bills as well as the defendant's lack of sufficient documentation for some charges. The plaintiff says this is an ongoing issue.

Nobel Services plaintiff seeks an emergency hearing so that it can seek an order compelling Miller defendant to cooperate fully in the plaintiff's ongoing investigation into the medical bills. Further, the plaintiff wants a review of all records regarding the defendant's care. It also seeks general and special relief as the judge sees fit.

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jeffrey R. Bale of The Bale Law Firm in Sugar Land.
