Overtime4

A flight coordinator is suing private aviation companies, alleging unpaid overtime.

Luke Bonnell filed a lawsuit July 22 in the Houston Division for the Southern District of Texas against Starbase Aviation, individually and doing business as Starbase Aviation Charter and doing business as Starbase Jet, alleging unpaid overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The complaint states that while Bonnell was employed by the defendants as a flight coordinator and lead flight coordinator, since October 2011, he worked up to 10 additional overtime hours per week. The suit says Bonnell was not paid time-and-a-half for time worked more than 40 hours per week.

Bonnell seeks unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, interests, costs of the suit and attorney fees. He is represented by attorneys Mark Siurek and (of counsel) Patricia Haylon of Warren & Siurek in Houston.

Houston Division for the Southern District of Texas case number 4:15-cv-02117.
