BEAUMONT – A Jefferson County business alleges that a Houston business has defaulted on a loan.

Tri-Con Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Frederick Buddecke, now known as Julie Ann Buddecke, and doing business as Baytex Operations Inc.; and Baytex Operations Inc., citing breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business as a result of unpaid work for the marketing and supply of motor fuel and petroleum products to the defendants' gas station and convenience store. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to continue paying plaintiff until November 2028 in accordance to their agreement.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just and proper. It is represented by Greg M. Dykeman of Strong Pipkin Bissell & Ledyard LLP in Beaumont.
