Texas bank alleges customer failed to pay installments

GALVESTON  — A Texas savings bank is suing a customer, alleging breach of contract and unpaid debt.

Pioneer Bank SSB of Hays County filed a complaint March 28 in Galveston County District Court against Loy W. Trevino of Friendswood, alleging he delivered a promissory note but failed to pay the required installments. 

According to the complaint, on Oct. 31, 2012, Pioneer Bank SSB suffered monetary damages as a result of non-payment of the debt owed. The bank alleges the Trevino delivered a promissory note to the plaintiff to settle his debt by paying in installments, but failed to pay the total balance.

Pioneer Bank seeks $86,945.57, plus interest at the maximum allowed rate by the law or 18 percent per annum until paid in full, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. It is represented by attorney Charles E. Lobb Jr. of Murray Lobb PLLC in Houston.
