KLX Energy Services LLC, WCW LLC accused of not paying overtime wages

Law money 09

MARSHALL – A class-action suit has been filed against two companies over allegations they did not pay their employees overtime wages.

William Christopher Reed filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on May 24 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against KLX Energy Services LLC, doing business as Wildcat Energy Services; and WCW LLC, formerly known as Wildcat Wireline LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was not paid any overtime compensation during his employment with the defendants. The plaintiff holds KLX Energy Services LLC and WCW LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay their employees overtime wages for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per work week and misclassified them as salaried employees.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages equal to the unpaid compensation, interest at the highest legal rate, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Gregory S. Porter of Porter Law Firm PC in Tyler.
