SHERMAN – A Plano man alleges his employer has not paid him overtime wages that he is entitled to.
Brian Sabato filed a complaint on June 10 in the Sherman District of the Eastern District of Texas against Oceans Healthcare LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Sept. 25, 2015, until present, he worked for more than 40 hours per week without receiving any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Oceans Healthcare LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime wages at the legal rate to plaintiff for hours worked more than 40 hours in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Thomas H. Padgett Jr. of Ross Law Group in Bellaire and Daniel B. Ross of Charles L. Scalise in Austin.
