GALVESTON — A Texas couple is suing a food service company, alleging tortious interference with an existing contract.

Ronald Lindquist and Nancy Lindquist filed a lawsuit July 14 in Galveston County District Court against ISB Enterprise LLC, doing business as International Signature Bistro, alleging failure to comply with the Amended and Restated Secured Promissory Note and Loan Agreement.

According to the complaint, the Lindquists suffered economic damages in the amount loaned to Papa Mamma Amore LLC, loans that were personally guaranteed by its officer and shareholder, Claudio Sereni.

The plaintiffs allege International Signature Bistro refused refused to allow Sereni to devote his full efforts to Claudio’s Bar & Grille and timely repay the loans. The suit says the defendant intentionally interfered with the plaintiffs’ contract with Sereni by continuing to allow Sereni to work at its establishment.

The Lindquists seek a trial by jury, monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000, prejudgment and post-judgment interest and any other relief the court deems proper. They are represented by attorney Andrew D. Weisblatt of The Weisblatt Law Firm LLC in Katy.
