Woman alleges borrower has failed to repay the loan she gave him

Late 02

HOUSTON — A lender has filed a lawsuit against Scott Heiman, a Katy resident, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Meredith Massey filed a complaint on Oct. 27, in the Harris County District Court against Scott Heiman alleging that the Katy resident failed to comply with his contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in 2014, she provided loans and advances to defendant totaling approximately $22,000. She has suffered monetary losses for not receiving payment for the said account. The plaintiff holds Scott Heiman responsible because the defendant allegedly has made numerous promises to repay the debt, yet he failed and refused to pay the debt that remains due and owing.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks award for all damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and such other and further relief to which she may be entitled. She is represented by Jordan A. Glaze and Josh Garrett of Glaze | Garrett PLLC in Gilmer.
