HOUSTON – A Harris County man claims that his girlfriend’s physician ex-husband slandered as well as physically assaulted him and has pursued legal action, recent Harris County District Court records show.

John Matthew Roberts, III’s lawsuit, filed Dec. 14 in the Harris County 270th District Court, accuses Dr. Vincent Paul Goux of the following acts: sucker punching the plaintiff; gaining access to the plaintiff’s social media accounts without permission; falsely accusing the plaintiff of stealing the defendant’s identity; and telling the plaintiff’s employer that he is an adulterer.

Roberts asserts that Goux is trying to sabotage his relationship with Beth Frost, insisting he had nothing to do with the failure of Frost’s marriage to the respondent.

The plaintiff consequently seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by attorney Craig R. Keener of Houston.
