HOUSTON — A Houston woman is suing Primrose of Pasadena, Pasadena Housing LP and Pinnacle Property Management Services, LLC, citing that allegedly insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Janice Bernard filed a complaint on Jan. 13 in the Harris County District Court against the defendants, alleging that they continued to allow dangerous existence in the premises.

According to the complaint, Bernard alleges that while walking her dog in the defendants' preperty April 1, 2015, she tripped and fell in a hole that was covered by grass. As a result, she suffered serious injuries resulting to physical impairment, mental anguish and loss of earnings. Bernard holds Primrose of Pasadena, Pasadena Housing LP and Pinnacle Property Management Services, LLC responsible because they negligently allowed the creation and continued existence of the hole and negligently kept the premises dangerous to anyone.

Bernard requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000 and further relief, both general or special, legal or equitable, to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Adam P. Criaco of Criaco and Associates in Houston.
