HOUSTON — A Houston man is suing contractors, alleging breach of contract regarding his beach house in Galveston.
Lance Kassab filed a complaint Jan. 20 in Harris County District Court against Patrick J. Combe-Ovadia and Comb & Associates LLC, alleging violation of the Texas Theft Liability Act.
According to the complaint, Kassab hired the defendants to provide construction services for his beach house in Galveston and paid a $14,400 down payment. The suit says the defendants failed and refused to provide services at the beach house and refused to return the plaintiff's deposit.
Kassab seeks trial by jury, judgment, jointly and severally, for $14,400 as the amount due and owing, attorney fees and court costs, pre- and post-judgment interest, and all other equitable relief. He is represented by David Eric Kassab of The Kassab Law Firm in Houston.
