By Philip Gonzales | Apr 7, 2017

HOUSTON — A lender is suing Guoyong Zhang, a borrower, citing alleged breach of a promissory note.

The Place 2 Dance Inc. filed a complaint on March 6, in the Harris County District Court against Zhang, a Fort Bend County resident, alleging that the borrower failed to perform his contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant executed a promissory note in the amount of $155,000, payable to plaintiff. To date, the principal balance of $97,500 remains due and payable, the complaint said. The plaintiff holds Zhang responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments for the balance amount.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of over $100,000 but not more than $200,000 and such other relief to which it is entitled. The lender is represented by John K. George of John K. George, Attorney at Law, in Bellaire.
